On-site Computer Service Technician

Currently seeking well-organized PC computer technician with tier 1 to 2 networking skills. Must be self-motivated and proactive with strong troubleshooting skills. Good customer relations and professional deportment are also required.
Normal hours are Monday thru Friday, 9AM-6:PM, but must be flexible on hours and available weekends if necessary.

Requested job skills include:
Network
• Know how to setup Windows shared folders and permissions.
• Installing and configuring off-the-shelf routers (wireless and non-wireless), wireless access points, print servers and configuring basic port-forwards on routers.
• Familiarity with using HTTP, FTP, SMTP and POP, PING, TRACERT, IPCONFIG….
• Familiarity with using Remote Desktop.
• Know simple backup concepts and methodology.

PC
• Advanced level knowledge of Windows 95 to XP operating systems, and comfortable with Windows 2000 to 2003 Server.
• Hardware troubleshooting, parts replacement and new build assembly.
• Software and hardware RAID 0 and 1.
• Spyware/adware and virus removal.
• Setup, configure, backup and restore Outlook Express and Outlook.
• Basic printer troubleshooting.

Ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years WORK experience in most of above listed skills CompTIA certified (Net+ or A+), at least one MCP certification and maybe some higher education training.
Familiarity with Linux, UNIX, MacOS, and Web page design are all a plus.

Minimum 1 year experience and high school diploma required. Must pass a drug and criminal background check, also must have a clean driving record.

Starting wages: $12.50 to $22.50 based on knowledge and experience.

Sales Representative for Computers and Networking

Job Purpose
We are looking for an inside sales representative for opening new accounts with Tampa Bay Area businesses for onsite computer sales, networking and support services. This person will focus on selling network support contracts and computer hardware to business clients in the Tampa/St Pete/Clearwater area market. Responsibilities will include telemarketing, cold calling, establishing face to face client appointments, and closing annual support contracts.

Job Purpose
Primary job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to
Diagnosing and repairing desktops and laptops for a variety of hardware and software problems, writing detailed notes on what the problem was and how it was repaired, interacting with customers regarding their repairs.  Additionally it may be required to drive to and from customer’s location in company provided van to trouble shooting computers and networks onsite as well as maintaining current customer’s networks.   We are interested in finding someone who has strong PC repair skills and would like to learn networking skills.  This position will offer on the job training to become Network certified and move up to a Full Time onsite position.

Laptop Repair Technician

Who we are looking for:

We are currently seeking an entry level Laptop Repair Technician as well as experienced Component Level Repair / Electronics Technicians. We service all major brands of desktops, laptops, printers and computer peripherals. The person we are looking for must be well organized; self-starter who is flexible, efficient, and productive with minimal guidance. Skills/Abilities

Laptop
• Laptop Repair experience, analyzing, evaluating and performing repairs down to component level within an ISO 9000 environment.
• Name Brand Laptops: Sony, Toshiba, HP, Compaq, Dell, etc.
• A+ Certification a plus!
• Must have experience in a repair environment with an emphasis in laptops.
• Some High School or College/Technical School computer repair or electronics,  training is preferred.      
• Must be detail oriented, and possess excellent analytical/organizational skills.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft applications.

PC
